Wednesday wisdom

During the 3:00/4:00 hours of the day seem to be when I am most awake and ready to work and usually by this time of day have completed all my work. So that is typically when I turn to Blogger.

I teach at the dance studio tonight. I'm thinking the kids will be ultra excited with Halloween on Friday and they are now at that age, 3-4, where they understand what it's about and not just mom and dad dressing them up in some goofy costume. I picked out some cute stickers for them and got snack size Teddy Grahams for treats. Due to the fact I wasn't exactly sure what kind of candy to get kids that I age I went with something that the parents would appreciate. The bean bag activity cd came in the mail along with the bean bags that I ordered. I'm excited to see how that goes and how the kids do with them.

I have my citizen's police class on Thursday. I am very much enjoying the class but hate having obligations two nights in a row. Geez, am I getting old or what? I used to teach 4 nights and work 6 days.

I also have to get a bag of candy for Saturday just in case we are home and trick or treaters come by. Notice I said 'another' bag. S and I have managed to put a good dent in the first bag I bought. Gummy Lifesavers in fun Halloween shapes. They are just so tasty and can make myself believe that they are not fattening because they are not chocolate. Makes sense right? Luckily S cannot eat chocolate and therefore I rarely buy it which is probably a blessing in disguise.

  1. We to have the sacrificial bag of Halloween candy that is usually bought the first week of October and then scarfed down. Then we deem is necessary to buy more EVEN though we don't get trick-or-treaters. Sad, I know...
