I am currently eating a Star Crunch. I have not had one of these in ages! I coworker put them in her candy dish and I couldn't resist any longer. It is every bit as delicious as I remember them being.
Saturday was a great day. I had to be at the Kent County Sheriff's department by 7:45 for my ride along. We went up to Alpine Township. We had a lot of interesting calls.
The nickel version:
*A stop at a migrant camp on 7 mile to take pictures of a worker that was hit over the head with a beer bottle the day before.
*Ticked a driver doing 85 in a 55. The cop was nice though and only wrote it for 10 over.
*Went to York Creek, had a caller that wanted her purse and cell phones back. She had left them at an apartment the night before after taking off when a fight broke out.
*Went to another apartment for a report on a caller with a harassing phone call.
*Had to take a report at an accident by Walmart.
*Went to a retail fraud at the Walmart. A guy had stolen a jacket, he was being cooperative though but because he didn't have an ID and admitted that he was illegally in the country we had to book him at the jail.
Had time for a nap after my ride along before our cooking class at the culinary classroom. We made an Artichoke and Feta Cheese pizza that tasted excellent. We also make Shrimp Cocktail that wasn't half bad. And we got to try a lot of other tasty foods prepared by others.
Sunday was a hodgepodge of activities. Groceries in the morning, Scott worked on the leaves, I went shopping for Wee One's birthday present, watched some football, played video games, ordered pizza and boneless wings from Jets, watched more football and crawled into bed at a decent hour.
All in all a pretty good weekend.
