Back to work today and have work that I should be doing. Instead I am pacing myself and slowly getting adjusted back into the work day. Actually I worked my butt off until 3:00, my boss left, and I've been catching up on every one's blogs and Facebook status' since them. I am so dog tired that I don't think I can possibly do any more work today. My brain is fried.
I'm going to split our vacation up into several blogs instead of all into one. This will help me detail more. Plus I will download the pics onto my computer when I get home so I can incorporate them.
Day 1:
We left GR at 5:45am on Sunday, July 25th. 15 minutes earlier then what we were planning on. Great start!!! We headed to Sioux Falls, South Dakota stopping a few times for gas, potty breaks and lunch.
We arrived in Sioux Falls around 6:00 GR time, they are one hour behind us. We unloaded our stuff into the hotel room, had a couple of adult beverages and relaxed a bit.
Then we got in the car to go find the Saia terminal (the hubby's place of employment) so S could check it out and see what it looked like. We found the terminal, took a picture then moved on to find someplace to eat for dinner. Along the way we found a place called Senor Wiener (a hot dog wearing a sombrero) restaurant. We stopped in so the hubby could buy a t-shirt (tacky but funny). We decided not to eat here though and went across the street to Fudrucker's. Since they closed the one in GR we were excited to find this!
After we went back to the hotel to relax and get ready for bed since we were both exhausted from getting up early and traveling. We got a good 7 hours of sleep and got up early again and left the hotel at 6:30 (their time) to set off too Montana.

Okay. I wouldn't mind having a Senor Weiner t-shirt. Ha!
