Last day in Bozeman before our long drive home.
We got up and starting packing up our things thinking that we had to be out at 11:00. After stripping the bed, doing the dishes, emptying the trash, and loading up the car the caretakers came out. They asked if we were leaving already and we said yes that we had to be out at 11:00. She double checked our paperwork and said that we had it for one more night.
What a relief!!!!!! Kristen and Kevin had offered for us to stay at there house that night so we wouldn't have to pay for a hotel. That was nice of them but I was dreading it. Due to overcrowding and lack of privacy.
So we unpacked the car, made up the bed, and breathed a large sigh of release. And after checking the rental agreement again I found that she was right and somehow the whole time in my head I thought we only had it for four nights.
Kevin had taken Friday off but was welding up something for S in the morning. So we headed into town to pick up a couple of things from the shops then called Kevin to see how things were going at the work shop.
He was not done yet and we were starving so we went for lunch in Belgrade. Cute little restaurant called the Desert Rose. They serve beverages in small mason jars and wrap the silverware in handkerchiefs. I had an excellent salmon burger and S tried the pulled pork sandwich and both were unbelievably good.
We met the two K's at their house and headed out to a Lake with a cooler full of beer and the two dogs in Kevin's truck.
It was a beautiful warm day out and we enjoyed ourselves hanging out at the lake watching the dogs swim. We all sat with our feet in the water, talking and drinking beers.
After the lake we headed to a restaurant called the Land of Magic. Kevin had taken S and I here during our last trip and we loved the food. We stuffed ourselves silly then headed back home.
We all called it a night and S and I headed back to the guest house.
When we arrived we had some cocktails and talked about the day.
