Day 3 Tuesday

First full real day of vacation. I woke up early due to excitement and a good night's sleep. Went upstairs and stared in awe at the surrounding rolling pastures and mountains off in the distance.

After getting ready for the day we went into town to cruise through the shops on Main Street. Bought postcards and souvenirs.

We met Kevin for lunch at the Pickle Barrel. A sandwich shop that is a must every time we visit. They have excellent food and a half sandwich is still to large for me to eat.

K went back to work and the hubby and I went to Burke Park for a walk and then for a drive afterwards with no destination in mind. Just gorgeous mountain views and small towns. Followed by a shower, change of clothes and relaxing at the guest house.

We met the two K's at their house and went to the Korner Bar in Four Corners for dinner. Called it an early night and got another good nights sleep.
