After picking up lunch to take with us we had a very scenic drive up a winding road through the mountains. Beautiful!!!!!
There was a picnic table near the parking lot so we sat and had lunch to fuel up before our hike.
We first hiked up to Grotto Falls. (And I'm using hiked loosely here for as it was more a walk and nothing too strenuous.
Then we drove over to another location to walk up to Palisades Falls. This was a paved trail (handicap accessible) but the elevation was higher making it more difficult to breath.
Afterwards we went to a man made reservoir and let the dogs go swimming while we waded in the water.
Once back to Bozeman we went to a place called Plonk and had some marvelous $8.00 drinks. But hey we were on vacation so why not splurge?
We went back to the guest house and got cleaned up and met back at their house to walk over to McKenzie River Pizza. Dinner was delish! After, we went to a couple of bars then called it a night.
