That's a wrap

Looking forward to going home and wrapping gifts. I actually get enjoyment out of that as long as I don't have to do it all at once. Otherwise it gets overwhelming.

Glad to say I am just about done Christmas shopping. I have to get a few stocking stuffers for S, pick up a plant for the studio owner before dance next Wednesday, and wait to hear what the verdict is on the possible family gift for the grandparents. For me to be done this early is shocking. Especially since I got started later then usual.

S and I stopped doing gifts several years ago and just do stockings. I don't think that saves us any money though because we end up buying expensive stocking items like movies and gift cards, etc. I had bought three movie/cd items on Amazon and already gave them to S because I got so excited about them and knew he would be just as geeked. That leaves a lonely bottle of cologne for me to wrap and give to him. So I need to pick up a few things to go with it.

Are sending out Christmas cards a dying a tradition? I have received two in the mail (thanks J). I know it's early yet but last year we received only a handful. Several years ago we would get dozens in the mail. Every year we get less and less. I love sending them out and receiving because it's much more fun to open then bills.

WOW! At this moment the sun is shining through the office window and is so nice to see!
