It was a weekend of work and very little play. So even with that extra hour of sleep I still found it nearly impossible to pull myself out of bed this morning.
Saturday I had to work. It was a pretty quiet day,therefore, the day dragged and time seemed to stand still.
Saturday evening S and I went over to my grandparents house. My grandma and grandpa leave for Florida next week so we thought we'd get a visit in before they left. They had a potluck and a bunch of family was over. Every one grabs a bite to eat before taking the kids out Trick or Treating.
After visiting with family we went over to my parents house for a little while then headed home. We watched Max Payne. (Very boring movie and was not my choice. In fast I fell asleep before it was over).
I set my alarm for 8:30 Sunday and didn't realize until I was already up and awake that I never turned the clocks back. So I was up at 7:30 on a Sunday! Remarkable for me, I'm lucky if I can get out of bed that early for work. S got up about an hour later and we went for breakfast at the Omelette Shop. (I don't recommend unless you have a lot of time on your hands. Great food but extremely slow service).
Then we went to Lansing to help my brother-in-law and sister-in-law move from their townhouse into a house they just bought. Talk about an unorganized mess! They didn't even have moving boxes. But we got everything that they had left moved over.
Afterwards they bought us dinner at Fazolis.
We rented Observe and Report from Video on Demand when we got home. It was a cute movie but now one I'd buy to own.
