I big sigh of relief that my apple crisp I brought into the office today for a coworker's birthday was a hit. I ended up cheating though and used apple pie filling instead of peeling and slicing all my own apples. I would have had to get up so much earlier to do that and because I went to bed so late that wasn't happening. And I'm sure I've mentioned before that I am NOT a morning person.
The hubby will be happy that there is quite a bit leftover since I didn't make a dish for him this morning. Once again to save me some time.
I am looking forward to nothing other then going home, putting on my pajamas, turning up the heat, and plopping myself down in front of the television. Most definitely not making dinner tonight either, thinking delivery is in order.
Things I am looking forward to this weekend:
*Nice weather on Saturday and Sunday (hopefully forecast is correct!)
*Dinner Saturday night with another couple! A friend from high school that I have reconnected with in the past year. We are finally having dinner and introducing the hubbies.
*Sunday football.
*Shopping for a friend's birthday gift.
