
I was at the Farmer's Market with J and we see this tasty fruit called Currants. Neither of us had ever tried them before and thought they looked intriguing. So I bought a pint of them to take home and try. Just to eat alone they are very tart but put them in some Low fat vanilla yogurt and oh boy do you have a treat!!!! And here's the shocker---S and I both agreed it was better then ice cream!!! I know how crazy, who would of thought! And obviously it is way healthier. So if you ever find yourself at the Farmer's Market and run across this crazy fruit it is worth a try.


Currants make great jam!
