I finished the Rider's Edge course yesterday. And I surprisingly passed. Not because I think I'm terrible, I actually think for having ZERO experience that I am actually pretty decent.
We were on the range yesterday from 8:00-2:00. That included more skill learning, a 45 minute lunch, practice and the dreaded test. I was sweating bullets before the test. I called S during lunch and told him I was really worried. Imagine his surprise when I pulled up into the driveway and held up my certificate.
He had confidence in me all along but then he didn't see me on a the darn thing.
After the range test we went inside and finished up what we needed to cover in the book. That was followed by the written test. 50 questions, multiple choice. All I know is that I passed they will be mailing out the results.
Today I went to the Secretary of State's office while everything was fresh in my head. Had to take their 20 question, multiple choice test and got 2 out of 20 wrong. So I passed that and they added the cycle endorsement to my license.
S is going to get his old bike out for me to practice on in parking lots and such. Because I don't feel anywhere ready to be on the road with other motorists.
