I love how comfy ballet flats are but I'm 5'3" so they only make it into rotation on occasion. But plaid seems to be all the rave this year and plaid and I do not go hand and hand. These are adorable but so not me.

So I continue looking and find peep toes. Again, adorable but I have a bunion (sorry if TMI) on my right foot that will not allow me to wear such things.

The next "Fall Must Have", Converse style shoes. Not exactly fashionable nor what I want to wear to work. And majority of the ones they have are covered with hideous print or are velcro. And velcro is not coming into my wardrobe until I am in my late 70's or 80's and I just don't have the energy to tie my own shoes any more.

And still in fashion from last year on the "must haves" are the Ugg style boots and the scrunch looking boots. You know the ones, they look straight out of the 80's. So unfortunately unless I come across some adorable shoes I'm thinking I will be out of the trend this year.

Great minds think alike, I too am not a lover of plaid. I have seen it all over the adds for teens PLAID, PLAID, and more PLAID. Ugh, have you noticed that clothes in mustard and olive green are out there in copious amounts as well. Takes me back to Junior High.
