So the hubby is planning something for my 33rd birthday tomorrow. And it finally falls on a Saturday and I don't have to work. Holla! I've never been one that gets real into the whole birthday celebration. But I am so excited for tomorrow only because S is planning the day.
We have been together for twelve years and in that twelve years I have always planned everything. With three exceptions. He planned a picnic for me (and for the life of me can't remember what the occasion was--shame on me) up by the Hardy Dam, a motorcyle ride up to Manistee, and he wants credit for our honeymoon (which in my book WE planned the trip and he planned the hotel stays. So okay fine, I'll give it to him).
So for him to plan the day and me not to have to do anything. Woo hoo!!!!! I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.
Even milestone birthdays have not been exciting for me.
My 16th birthday I worked. Yes worked. I had forgot to ask for it off in time and no one would work for me. I got home at 10:00pm and basically went to bed. I was too tired to even eat the cake my mom had made for me.
My 21st birthday I had dinner with S at his mom's house, just the two of us. It was a nice dinner but nothing crazy like your 21st should be. He made dinner and I had to buy the alcohol because he was not old enought. I am all of five months older.
My 25th birthday on the 25th of September was outstanding but I planned the trip. We stayed up in Traverse City in a jacuzzi suite. We toured the Leelanau Penisula and made a stop at a lighthouse, had lunch at a local restaurant, and had a really nice time.
My 30th----hmmmm honestly I don't really remember how we celebrated this.
So I am like a kid on Christmas Eve anticipating what Christmas day will bring. Anything he plans will be outstanding in my book. Unless he plans automotive work like CurlyGirl's husband suggested on Facebook. LOL.

Oh my GAWD--can you imagine if he took J's advice. Reason for divorce?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Happy Birthday In Advance! I hope you have a great day.
Hope your birthday was great! I still need to get over and see you. Hubby-Man says, "It's not automotive work. It's automotive maintenance." He's a freak.
