Bikers for Babies ride

Sunday we had the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies ride. This was their 10th year and our 2nd. They said it was a record turn out this year which is outstanding news!

They said there were about 700 bikes this year and a number of cars. All I know is there was quite the line of bikes and it must have looked like Hells Angels rolling through when we went through town.

The first leg of the ride took us to the Gilmore Car Museum. They took the scenic route along Gun Lake and the Yankee Springs area. It was a gorgeous ride! And I love riding around the lake. We arrived at the museum around 12:45, an hour and a half ride. My caboose was sore and I couldn't wait to get off the bike. Of course everyone was hungry and headed straight over to the food lines. Even though lunch is catered when we arrive back we needed a little something to hold us over. I opted for an ice cream!

Going back to the track took 45 minutes. And once again everyone headed straight to the food line. Lunch was catered by Texas Roadhouse. They had pulled pork, chili, beef, green beans and salad. The food was excellent!

We watched some drag racing and checked out the vendors then headed back for home around 4:00.

I'll see if I can post some pics later.
