Today started out craptacular.
Needed gas in my car, was literally in the red. Made a quick stop and put in $10, went across the street and bought a $4.55 latte, then headed towards work. I had twenty minutes to get to work and be on time.
Of course wouldn't you know it?! I come across a detour for a detour.
Late to work.
First customer call of the day. A pissed off customer at that. Long story short he was upset at how our our clerk handled the situation with his shirt that "we ruined" and wanted to be compensated or he was going to Wood Tv 8 (good luck with that). I calmed him down, got his info, and wanted to smack that clerk. (FYI: It was elbow wear on a two year old shirt that had been cleaned 20 plus times. Elbow wear occurs from pressure on your shirt where you bend your elbow. Nothing we cause, it's called wear and tear. Duh.)
The day progressed with unpleasant tasks such as ordering buttons and going through a giant stack of receipts for the fuel bill.
I texted the hubby 45 minutes into the work day and suggested Bud and Stan's for dinner. He replied with "hell yea". So I have that to look forward to tonight. I think a sangria or sangrias are definitely in order.
Oh and somehow we got hooked on this season of Jersey Shore (please don't think less of me)so must remember to dvr.

Jersey Shore is so lovely and yet makes me feel so dirty when I watch it (because I do. every week).
ReplyDeleteI would so watch Jersey Shore if I wasn't "living off the grid". Maybe I could watch it on Huloo or Zulu (whatever it's called).
