Got word yesterday that S and I are going to start a family. That's news to us. Besides I thought S, me and the dog were a family. The hubby's brother called and apparently his 91 year old grandmother told everyone at brunch yesterday that we are going to start having a family. His brother, C, told her that he didn't think we were going to have kids and she replied with "God works in mysterious ways". Interesting.
Saturday morning I went to the Lowell Community Expo with my parents. Had a nice time. A couple of my cousin's wives were working booths. Got out just in time, was starting to get pretty crowded.
Cleaned our bedroom Saturday afternoon. It's easy for me to ignore that room. I usually clean in there when I can't stand the accumulation of dust on the ceiling fan any longer.
Made an excellent new dish on Sunday. Peas and carrots with dumplings soup. I had never made dumplings before and found it rather strange to drop biscuit batter into the soup.
I teach dance tonight. Have three months left until recital. So ready to be done. My little kids, five and six year olds, are a good group a kids. There are seven now in the class, one just started a few weeks ago. Wasn't real impressed with having a new student added to the class six months into the year with only four months left to go.
My teenagers are nice girls but they are extremely lacking energy every week. So I started bringing snacks to class to give them an extra boost. I would rather spend an additional six bucks or so out of my own pocket then to have to be bored out of my ever lasting mind for the remainder of the night.
