And the beat goes on

This weather is such crap! It's windy and cold today but I still refuse to wear closed toed shoes again. I had to pull the collar up on my coat and shove my hands in my pockets this morning while filling up my gas tank, all $56 dollars worth.

Our anniversary is Sunday. This weather is really making it hard to get into this year. This is anniversary number seven and  the first time that the weather has been nasty like this on our anniversary. It's always been sunny and 70's.

I want to plan something fun but everything that I really want to do entails being outside and that is just not going to happen. I haven't even bought the hubby a gift. Have no clue what to even get him.

My dad's birthday is Monday. I've been resorting to gift cards since he's been laid off. Easy to shop for and something he can use. Probably will be for Home Depot.

Saturday night we are having my parents and Cody, my brother's soon to be step son, over for dinner and to watch the bull riding event on pay-per-view.  It's fun to watch but it's also so we can see my brother on tv. He's the one that opens the gate. It normally airs on the Versus channel on Saturday and Sunday nights.

I bought a roast to make pulled pork sandwiches in the crock pot. But still need to plan the rest of the menu. Probably something simple like potato salad.  I did go to Grand Traverse Pie company today and picked up two pies, pecan and raspberry cream. These bad boys look delish!

I need to clean the house after work. I have not done dishes all week, literally, so the sink is full. Monday I taught dance, Tuesday and Wednesday were too nice to be indoors, and Thursday I go to my grandma's.

The bathroom is looking like something that belongs in a bachelor's house. Nasty.

I have a huge to do list and all I would really like to do is go home, put on comfy clothes, park myself in front of the tv, and catch up on my dvr'd shows.
