I asked a tree company how to stop it and they replied "With lead". I am not shooting it. In fact I put critter food out for the squirrels. But this is ridiculous! And actually they have removed more since I took these pics.

To catch a critter
This is a lilac tree in our backyard that I plant a garden around every year. This Fall I noticed that the bark was being shredded off the tree. I asked around as to what it could be and no one really knew. I finally caught the culprit red handed---A SQUIRREL!
I asked a tree company how to stop it and they replied "With lead". I am not shooting it. In fact I put critter food out for the squirrels. But this is ridiculous! And actually they have removed more since I took these pics.
