Saturday morning we picked up the new vehicle. We are loving it! The dealership we worked with was tremendous and the salesman was outstanding!
Afterwards we went over to the mall so S could pick up a part he wanted from Sears. He then amused me and tried on a new dress shirt and some jeans. We have a wedding Thanksgiving weekend and he's been wearing the same shirt for weddings forever. In fact we call the wedding/funeral shirt. And frankly I'm tired of it. As for the jeans I wanted him to have a nice pair that didn't look like the ones he buys for work. Something more stylish and dressy looking to wear when we go out.
He was a sport and didn't complain at all and we found both a shirt and jeans to both our liking.
Shopping was followed by lunch at On the Border, quick stop home and then off to a friend's house for a surprise birthday party.
There were many friends there that we had not seen in some time and had a nice time catching up with them and seeing their little ones.
Sunday we took S's truck to E. Lansing to store in his mom's garage for the Winter. We had brunch with his family then went to his mom's house. After getting the truck in the garage S had his list of to-do's while I texted back in forth with his brother giving me updates on the Lions game.
After a quick trip to Best Buy we dropped his mom off and headed home. We made a pit stop at my parent's house to visit and show them the new vehicle.
The weekend flew by even with that extra hour on Sunday.
