Big wheels keep on turnin'

So the vehicle we originally had thought about purchasing went to the wayside when looking online I found two better possibilities. (The original needed new tires, had an exhaust leak and was missing a trim piece)
S stopped at another dealership this morning to check the two out. He test drove the first one over to my work. I liked it except for a tear in the interior backseat door. I know, not trying to be too picky here but it's so rare that I get a new(er) vehicle.

So then he drove the second one over to my work. LOVED IT! A 2007 Saturn Vue. After a crazy day of many phone calls and running around we should have it all wrapped up tomorrow!! Woo hoo!!

I never imagined it would be this difficult to find a used vehicle. I was very sick of looking online and driving around to dealerships.

Other odds and ends:

Fried pickles and a chicken Caesar salad for lunch. At 9:00 this morning a coworker and I were talking about fried pickles so ordering them for lunch was a must. Luckily Buffalo Wild Wings is right down the road. And no we are not pregnant but ice cream does sound good. LOL.

I have not done any Christmas shopping yet and it is starting to bother me.

I finally turned the heat on in our house on Tuesday. But only to 62 when we are home and 58 at bedtime.

This day has exhausted me. I was going to rake leaves when I got home now I'm thinking pj's and the DVR are in order. Maybe some laundry.

We have a surprise birthday party on Saturday for a friend that we have not seen in quite awhile. Looking forward to socializing with some other couples.

Daylight savings ends on Sunday--bonus extra hour of sleep. :-)

Did I mention how tired I am? I can't even think of what I even was going to blog about so I'll stop boring both of us.
