I'm behind on my Christmas shopping this year. Mostly because I just don't know what to buy people.

My brother has decided that they want to save money and skip gifts. That means I don't have to buy for my two brother's and my brother's fiance. I have not a clue what the hubby's side of the family wants to do.

I have nothing against gift cards but they are no fun to wrap and look so tiny and boring under the Christmas tree.

I am on top of things when it comes to decorating. Sunday I got the outdoor decorations up, cleaned the house, hauled out all the decos from underneath the basement stairs, put up and decorated the tree and got some of the decos up in the living room.

I have an early day today and debating whether or not to do some power shopping or finish decorating.

I went to my cousin's wedding Saturday. The dress that took me so long to find got lots of compliments.

The reception hall was nicely decorated, it was great to see and catch up with family. The dinner was horrendous. The steak did not taste right and everyone at our table couldn't eat it. The mashed potatoes were good and I couldn't eat the corn either.

That is the second wedding that we have attended at this place and have been disappointed both times by the service. However the keg must have been a big hit because it was gone by 9:00.

I got to slow dance a couple of songs with the hubby and then we called it a night around 11:00.
