Forward progress

S ended up having to work on Saturday. I was kind of bummed because I wanted to make some progress on the house. But he got paid a ton of money and I still managed to get some things done myself. I finished cleaning the room out, with the exception of the furniture, got the house dusted and cleaned, and managed to squeeze some laundry in.

At 3:00 I had about had it with house work and needed to get out a bit.
*got the car washed
*bought new blades for the bedroom ceiling fan and chain pulls at Lowe's.
*stopped at Kmart for shower curtain liner, Mr. Clean magic eraser, and some other odds and ends.
*then had to stop at Meijer for something for dinner once I got word that S wouldn't be home from work until 8:00ish. Much to late to get ready and go out for dinner.

Sunday we did manage to move the furniture out and rip the carpeting out the bedroom (at last). S pulled up the tack strips and I got all the staples out of the floor.

S put up the new light fixture while I whipped up some banana smoothies. Then it was off to Meijer for groceries before starting dinner and watching Role Models. (Very funny movie if you have yet to see).
