Instead of a day off this week I am taking two half days in hopes of getting more accomplished. I know it sounds crazy but if I take a whole day then I tend to sleep in, sit around in my pajamas, finally shower and dress. You know how it goes. The first half of the day ends up being a waste and you are left with a half day regardless.
I finally got out of work at 2:00 yesterday. Crazy busy day and things kept coming up that I had to get done and couldn't shake off for another day. One was a quote for the Walker Police Department. I'm hoping to hear it's a go today. And the other was a long application to get on the bid list for the Kent County Sheriff's Department. Another contract I would love to nab. Would be a big money account!
When I got home I managed to get two more coats of Kilz on the trim and one coat of paint. The room is looking better already!
The plan for today is to get a final coat of paint on the trim and then work on some dance stuff, oh and shave. Which thanks to dance gets done at least once a week in the Winter. Then head out the door to the studio in hopes of arriving early.
Thursday I hope to tape off the room and start the cut in on the walls. Friday paint the walls. Voila!! Room is completed. Then on to the master bedroom. I'm going to be so sick of painting by the end of the month.
