Last night after work I took the dog for a short walk. Was hoping for a longer one but do the fact that I wore tennis shoes and the sidewalks were icy I cut it short to prevent falling ass-over-apple cart.
I followed a Betty Crocker recipe and made Banana Bread for the first time. It turned out wonderful. I would have liked to have made another loaf but I have only one egg in the fridge and avoid after work grocery stops like the plague.
Then I tackled another new recipe and made Stuffed Pork Tenderloin. Mine did not look like the picture but tasted wonderful. Served with veggies and couscous.
Since I made a rather tedious meal last night and banana bread I'm doing a low key dinner tonight. Very low key. As in chili (turkey)dogs and tater tots. Besides I have a sink full of dishes and after washing all of them after work the last thing I will want to do is to fill it up again.
Side note: Quaker has out some new flavors for their mini rice cakes. The Creme Brulee is really good!
