As I'm scrounging around my purse trying to find a pack of gum I have to stop and wonder why in the world we feel a need to lug this bag full of crap around. I mean really?! Men can put everything they need in a 3 by 4 inch bill fold. Is it our motherly instincts, kids or no kids, but just to have to always have that something "just in case"?
Contents of purse (as seen above, except mine is lime green) (And I know there are worse offenders out there):
*Pocket 1: 2 purse sized bottles of perfume, lip gloss, and chapstick.
*Pocket 2: Cell phone
*Zip pocket: Feminine unmentionables and extra camera battery
*Main part of purse: Coin purse, large wallet/check book, gum, mints, floss, pen, note pad, napkin, deposit slips, envelope of pictures, receipt, coupons, paint color sample, cuticle cream, hand cream, lotion, hand sanitizer(2), mirror, correction tape,& envelope sealant.
And just about the time you think you can really do w/o something (you take it out) and that's the one flippin' thing you need.
