S thinks I'm crazy but I have been feeding the squirrels (year round) for awhile now. I have one in particular that visits every day. I named him Andy (like the squirrel in Funny Farm. A must see movie if you have not seen yet) He will sit on the feeder and stare at the house and he must know what time I drag butt up every day because he's always out there. This year 2 babies have been around too. They are so fun to watch and some days there will be up to 4 out there at a time. I can't wait to move to the country to see what other woodland creatures that I can bait in.
Andy's got a long tail! I too love squirrels. He looks like a hybrid of the country squirrel and the kick-your-butt city squirrels.
