A dog gone day......

So much for wanting to get some things done today. The only thing that was accomplished as of 4:18pm was spending $220 at the vet.
I get to my parents house around 11:00am. My mom wasn't home so I let the dogs out (they are dogsitting my brother's dog for a couple of days) and I sit outside reading the newspaper. My mom gets home and tells me that she thinks something is wrong with Cupid because she is going to the bathroom a lot plus when I go to load her stuff in my car I noticed that she has also used her bed as a toilet.
So I call the vet and they said that they can squeeze her in at 2:00. So I hang out at the 'rents house and wait for 2:00 to roll around. Oh---and I have to bring a urine sample which my mom and I manage to finally get after a couple of tries.
To make a long story short, after spending a hour and a half at the vet. They tell me that they are pretty sure that she has a bladder infection and possibly a kidney infection. They ruled out kidney stone by taking an x-ray and drew blood to check for anything wrong with her kidneys.
The vet will call me tomorrow with the findings of the blood test and let me know if I need to bring her back in. For now I have antibiotics to give her. And I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything else is well.
Now to get some work done around here.......
