I've been done Christmas shopping for about a week now. We didn't have as many to buy this year since our siblings didn't want to do gifts. So the hubby and I just keep buying things for each other and let me tell ya it got out of hand this year.
So we went to Best Buy Saturday so the hubby could pick up something for my stocking. While we were there we also bought Big Buck Hunter for the Wii and Zumba Fitness for the Wii (And I am so excited to give it a try!).
We followed up with a trip to Schuler's so I could pick up a couple of books that I've been wanting to read. (It's been like a year since I've read a book. And even have books that I owe back to a friend and my mother. I have not forgot.)
We stayed in Saturday night. Lit a fire in the fireplace, comfy clothes, Chinese takeout, watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and opened gifts.
Since we are going to S's mom's house on Christmas Eve we decided to do gifts when we could enjoy doing it. That way we could sleep in Saturday before heading to my parent's house on Christmas.
Sunday I finally was able to do some baking that I've been wanting to do. Made one batch of Christmas cookies. Those bad boys were so good that I am going to have to make more to give away. I also made a batch of raspberry truffle fudge that I can't wait to try. In hopes of not gaining a ton of weight I am going to try a piece and give the rest away.
