One of my weird quirky habits that I have is reading my horoscope everyday. I'm not so weird that I follow it to a T or look for signs all day that might possibly "fit" my horoscope but if it gives good advice I must use it to my advantage. I use the astrology provided by Yahoo's Shine. I first read my daily, then my career and finance, and then my Chinese horoscope.
Part of yesterday's Chinese horoscope was "Games of chance could provide you with a windfall". Well, how could I pass up buying some scratch off tickets when I have a better then normal chance at winning some money? I buy 4 $2 tickets, and 2 $1 tickets and give half to the hubby to scratch off and half for myself. Why not spread the wealth?
(Side note: I even picked out the "lucky" penny that had the date S and I started dating and rubbed it on Cupid's ear "for luck", a trick that "worked" during a drunken game of darts.)
Unfortunately there was no windfall so don't be expecting a check in the mail or a lavish baby present. We each won $2 a piece. Ha, I think my downfall was when I let the cashier pick out the tickets. Live and learn my friend.
