I woke up this morning at 4:00 to my dog barking non stop. So I get up to see what the heck she is barking at (her kennel is parked right next to our slider ever since the last break in). I turn the deck light on and there is a baby possum on our deck. So cute! I've seen it several times before in our neighbor's tree when Cupid has picked up it's scent and barked up a storm. But I've never seen it this close. It literally was three feet from the slider door, sitting underneath a side table.
The hubby told me that I can't feed it, in fear that I will get rabies. I did some research when Cupid discovered it the first time to see what they like to eat. Basically insects, fruit, leaves, and bread with honey on it! Jackpot!
When we finally move out to the country I will have every animal in Kent County eating in my yard. LOL.

Better not move too close or you'll have the MacNaughton boys on your deck too. haha just kidding, I hope your house sells and you move out to the country soon!
