In a nutshell

It was nice to get out of work and have some time before Zumba to accomplish some things. But let me tell you it was the fastest three and a half hours ever!

Stopped at Romence on my way home. Spent around $100 on flats of flowers and hanging baskets. The saddest part of that is they are annuals so once they die they are gone for ever along with the hundred bucks that I spent.

On the way home I met video game buyer from Craigslist at a gas station. Collected my $10 and headed home.

Changed out of work clothes into comfy clothes, did up a sink full of dishes, and started up the husband's truck. Or as I call it, Chitty Bang Bang. Headed over to our neighborhood hardware store that had my slider screen for 15 days.

Apparently they had my screen ready on Wednesday and no one bothered to call me. Nice. So I took it, paid the $35, and left. I will not be back.

Installed the screen door, hung the hanging baskets out, enjoyed a bowl of cereal while watching Kendra, got ready for Zumba and out the door I went.

Phew.

Zumba was extra hard because it felt like 110 degrees in there but it was fun.

Tonight after work I have a Happy Hour Open House. Miche Purses, Mary Kay, and margaritas. Sounds right up my alley.

  1. Those cursed hanging baskets are such a waste...and yet I buy them over and over and over again. Sometimes three in one summer because they croak in the hot sun.

I like that you did the CL transaction at a gas station. : ) The last thing I bought on CL, I made my dad come along with me to the woman's house (in case she was creepy).
