After dealing with the spider bite yesterday I had a decent day off.
Made a trip out to Target on 54th street. Bought a bunch of random stuff. Under eye concealer, pajama pants, stickers, 2 cards, 2 bags of dried apples, and a water bottle. How's that for random? I actually had a t-shirt for me and two t's for S but I put those back and decided to wait on those purchases. My total was still nearly $60!
Then I met a friend across the street at Arnie's for lunch. Always great to talk dance and get some good advice. She bought lunch even though it was my turn. (Mental note pickup gift card and thank you note and mail to said friend).
I then trucked across M-6 to I-196 to the Harley dealership in Hudsonville to pickup an anniversary gift for the hubby. The one item, an accessory, I knew he wanted was $140!!! So I put that back and opted for the rain suit that he actually wants and needs. Still dropped $110 on that bad boy.
By the time I got home it was 3:00 and I was whipped. All that driving had tired me out and I still had to go back out to Kalamazoo and 68th for a 5:30 hair appointment. So I curled up in the chair with a blanket and the dog and watched an episode of 90210.
Hair came out great! I had highlights and some layers added and a very badly needed trim. Another $101 plus a tip!
A stop at the liquor store cost me another $21.05.
Grand total for the day $292.05 plus tip for hairstylist and who knows how much gas I burned through, eeek!

Days off can be SO expensive. Sometimes it's cheaper to be at work. : )
